The education of Erika Garbin ranges from the studies done at the school of MusicArTerapia nella Globalità dei linguaggi (Music and Art Therapy) and other art-therapy courses including Closlieu by Arno Stern. The artistic production is intertwined with the job done with disabled people and children, and expresses itself in particular manners, from collages to embroidery. Her poetics consist in mixing atmospheres, disciplines, objects, and materials: it is sewing and sewing again the tears of the soul, within the time and structure of the thing itself.
