Marcella Fierro was born in Verona. She moved to Bologna in 1993 to attend the Academy of Fine Arts where she studied set design. Here she encountered photography during a course on dark room methods and fell in love with the medium. She began her career as an assistant working in advertisement, where she learned professional-level photography techniques. Today Marcella Fierro has her own studio. She works with media agencies and private clients, and is specialized in still-life, portrait, and furnishings. Her artistic endeavors have always accompanied her commission work: quality and creativity are the dominant features of her photographic research through the years.
