Lorenzo began exploring the world of photography while he was still in school, learning the basics on some old Yashica film cameras that belonged to his father. He then explored several photographic genres, but black and white landscape photography was what truly captured his interest. So he studied the great masters of black and white photography, from Cartier-Bresson and Ansel Adams to Michael Kenna, in the attempt to grasp their previsualization, composition, and developing techniques so as to create his own style. To date, Lorenzo has participated in national and international competitions in which he obtained awards and recognition. His works have been published in specialized magazines, and he has held exhibitions in London, where he lived for a time. Shadows and Light is his first literary-photographic project, self-published in December 2021.
