TTG Travel Experience – Installation Curated by Cinquerosso Arte
Beyond hospitality, beyond art. An alchemical fusion that it’s what defines the world of the ‘Art Hotels’. It’s a concept too complex to be summed up in just two words, because is a new paradigm in hospitality that deserves a more detailed narrative to fully explore its many facets.
Today, Art Hotels represent one of the leading trends in the industry, not just a choice but a philosophy that places experience at the core of contemporary hospitality. Here, hotel stays are infused with beauty, offering a true immersion in culture without sacrificing the pleasure of comfort—or even the pinnacle of luxury—ensuring an unforgettable hospitality experience.
Dear Artist, how much do you cost?
This is one of the first myths to debunk: art is not always expensive. A deeply ingrained belief persists, suggesting that one must visit a gallery and select works from renowned artists, often out of reach due to budget constraints. However, affordable alternatives do exist, and they are just as valuable.
“Art isn’t expensive if you choose from emerging artists,” says Francesca Fazioli, artistic director and founder of Cinquerosso Arte, an online platform connecting supply and demand. Fazioli has curated a selection of 50 Italian artists, giving them the chance to gain visibility through hotel spaces and social media exposure. “I’ve met so many talented young artists, so why not offer works that aren’t yet priced in the art market?”
The works suggested by Cinquerosso Arte are certanly original and full of character, “Instagrammable,” as it’s cool to say. Additionally, a consultancy service is provided, when requested, to help hoteliers select the right artwork that best reflects the image of their property, and aligns with the mood set by architects and designers.
“Above all, Art creates value; it is an integral part of architecture because it completes the design,” continues Fazioli. “Moreover, every carefully chosen detail adds a special touch to the atmosphere, allowing guests to feel at home and truly comfortable. What we aim to convey is that art appeals even to those who don’t consider themselves experts. When you move through an environment, you end up getting lost in the art as if you were at an exhibition.”
