enclosed in the corolla of a flower or a fruit. His mind would then process fantastic worlds and create maps for journeys to explore with eyes and heart full of wonder. After many years, this same wonder is still intact. Every morning Rocco goes out for a walk, and along the country lanes he is able to observe a great variety of wild plants; thus the idea of photographing these beautiful 'weeds' as if they were human portraits was born. For Rocco, these simple little plants represent the metaphor of beauty. A beauty ignored by most, yet tenacious and fearless. Close
