Garbin's work has the refinement of old embroideries, a vintage and pop aura that smacks of childhood memories. They are unexpected juxtapositions, disturbing and disturbing, as soft as grandma's cake and as mysterious as cryptographies. They are pages from a collective, social history, and at the same time intimate and domestic, made up of trips out of town for families of the economic boom, and female fingers embroidering in the light of afternoons of a bygone era.
