by Bruno Monari is well suited to the work of Alessio Privitera, who investigates the relationship between reality and perception. The works in this series are a kind of dialogue between the artist's point of view and the images generated by artificial intelligences. They are photographs of Pc motherboards reworked in macro to create undefined images. Once these "worlds" have been obtained, the artist draws on them with acrylics, India ink and other materials, reproducing what he sees in those tiny circuits: industrial cities, steel mills, refineries, suburban environments that Alessio is in love with and always goes in search of when he travels. His works, mainly in mixed media, give the viewer the illusion of seeing something else entirely: what was initially small becomes gigantic, the meaning of the object is distorted. Thus the arist tries to establish a contact, a communication with the viewer. Close
