Art Meets Design,” the exhibition curated by Cinquerosso Arte at the stunning FGC LOFT showroom in Via Santo Stefano 30/2, Bologna, was inaugurated on Friday, May 16th, and will remain open throughout the summer.
Presented to celebrate the third anniversary of Cinquerosso Arte, the exhibition was also an opportunity to start a collaboration with one of the most significant furniture showrooms in the Bologna area.

FGC LOFT identifies itself like ‘Falegnameria sartoriale’, as each of its creations is designed around the client, from individual pieces to entire interiors. Founded in 2006 by the three siblings Giuseppe, Isabella, and Clemente Cortese, FGC LOFT produces unique, custom-made furniture using wood, various essences, and metal materials. Additionally, they offer renowned furniture brands such as Edra, Baxter, FLOS, and many more. During the exhibition, Cinquerosso Arte’s artworks engage in a dialogue with these extraordinary handcrafted pieces.

Many artists from Cinquerosso Arte have exhibited their artworks: Giuseppe Barilaro, Gabriele Bizzarri, Luca Brandi, Marcella Fierro, Tommaso Fontana, Paola Goldoni, Filippo Manfroni, Mauro Sini, Paola Stefanizzi, and Francesco Zurlini.

“We are truly happy to see our artworks showcased in such a high-level design context,” says Francesca Fazioli, founder and art director of Cinquerosso Arte.
This exhibition is a meeting point between art and design—different creative expressions united by artistry—and we like to think it will spark new ideas. It also seems to us a perfect way to celebrate the first three years of Cinquerosso Arte, which has always aimed to spread beauty, just as FGC LOFT does.
