After graduating in psychology, Alessio Privitera began his artistic research through a collaboration with Gabriele De Vecchi, with whom he created an installation. Alessio then became interested in the concept of interactive art, which requires the participation of the viewer in order to awaken his sensory awareness. In realising his works, the artist always asks himself how to dialogue with the observer, how to establish an exchange, a communication that is not one-way. Over the years he has experimented with different techniques, but the aim remains that of disrupting the viewer’s perception and establishing an active contact.
